Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic
Ventura, CA

Valex Corp is hiring for a 1st-shift Maintenance Mechanic to work in our manufacturing facility in Ventura, CA. You will perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic equipment. You will fabricate metal framework by welding and/or using industrial fasteners, you will fabricate tubing/piping systems using various types of material (copper, stainless steel, PVC, CPVC), and you will fabricate sheet metal duct work systems. In addition, you will also perform facility projects involving plumbing, drywall, floor repair, etc.


The successful candidate must meet or exceed the following qualifications: 4-8 years of directly related work experience in a high paced manufacturing environment; must have own tools and tool chest; must be able to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, prints, drawings, and manuals; must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively; must have a valid driver's license; must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, must have demonstrated competency in plumbing, electrical, welding, sheet metal fabrication, HVAC, mechanical/pneumatic, hydraulic repair.

Warehouse Worker
Ventura, CA

Valex is looking for a warehouse worker with 1-3 years experience to join our warehouse team. You will support shipping, receiving, production supplies, and production control to varying degrees and at the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor. You will use our automated ERP system to issue, receive, cycle count, and package inventory items, and you will transact receipts and issues of inventory items.


You must be familiar with ERP software systems (or be able to learn quickly), have experience with RF scanners, and have experience cycle counting inventory in a repetitive manufacturing environment. You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., have a valid CA driver's license (driving record required), and be able to read, write, and speak English.

This is a Union, hourly/non-exempt position that has room for growth for the right candidate. Hourly rate is $22.50.

Valex is looking for two Buyer/Planners to join its team in Ventura, CA. The successful candidates will use our ERP software to plan and schedule distributed products. Duties will include daily review of sales and distribution requirements, entering and maintaining ERP planning data, managing the inventory of the key components needed to assure production can meet its delivery goals on time, create and release work orders, and working with Sales to establish/meet delivery goals. You will also work closely with accounting to resolve any cost or inventory issues that may arise.


The minimum requirements for this position include two years' production planning and purchasing experience in a distributed product environment, two years' experience using ERP software, effective written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in MS Word & Excel, and a high school diploma. Valex Corp is looking for a qualified Supply Chain Analyst to join its team in Ventura, CA. The successful candidate will review and analyze gathered data for SIOP. Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Ventura, CA

Valex Corp is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join its Facilities Department in Ventura, CA. This will be a hands-on position where you will be performing maintenance and making repairs on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment and on the building and grounds, while also supervising and assigning work to Facilities personnel who will be performing similar functions. You will initiate and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and a spare parts program, and you will oversee facilities machine shop operations related to the upgrade of fixtures and tooling. You will perform all other duties/projects as assigned by your manager.


This role requires a minimum of 8 years related experience working in a manufacturing environment and 2 years of previous supervisory experience. You must have a high school diploma and be able to read, write, and speak English effectively. Written and verbal communication skills are important in this role, as you'll deal with people of all levels in the course of your work. You must be proficient in Word and Excel and experience with CMMS software would be preferred. You must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Valex Corp is looking for an experienced Buyer to join its team in Ventura, CA. Key responsibilities will include: sourcing and purchasing material that directly supports production, such as, but not limited to, floor stock, vendor services, office supplies, consumables, etc; establish and maintain relationships with suppliers; vendor coordination; cost and budget control; and source other supplies as requested.

Quality Engineer

Valex Corp is currently looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Quality Department at our global headquarters in Ventura, CA. Some of the key responsibilities for the position include the following: read and interpret engineering drawings and review blueprints and specifications, use the latest drawing and QCIP to perform dimensional and visual inspections, document non-conforming material reports, create quality control inspection plans, lead and conduct internal audits, write work instructions and train quality inspectors, conduct root cause analysis and correction action, collect test samples and coordinate 3rd party test samples, input material test reports from suppliers, ensure all measuring devices and gauges are calibrated correctly, and all other duties as assigned.

Machine Operator
Ventura, CA

Valex is looking for a 1st shift Machine Operator to join its production team in Ventura, CA. Under limited supervision, you will use various machining equipment to supply stainless steel fittings that meet specified criteria. You will identify and separate non-conforming parts, scrap parts, and acceptable parts, and you will ensure that the proper paperwork accompanies the fittings.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years experience operating various machines in a machine shop environment. You must also be able to read blueprints and production drawings, and must be able to measure the products produced to assure conformance with the drawings and blueprint dimensions using shop math. You must be able to load, unload, operate, check, and troubleshoot all mills, lathes, computer-numerical-controlled (CNC) lathes and mills, vertical and horizontal saws, and i.d./o.d. deburring equipment for the purpose of producing 1/4" through 6" stainless steel products.

This is a union position that will require a union initiation fee to join the union and ongoing monthly dues. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with a pay range of $23.70 to $29.25 depending on your qualifications. A contract wage increase will apply in March 2026.

Quality Technician

The Valex Quality Department is looking for a Quality Technician to join its team in Ventura, CA. Your primary responsibilities will include: full technical support to all internal and external customers; assist, review, sign new and modified (DCN) drawings, inspection plans know as Quality Control Inspection Plans (QCIP), and other documents; coordinate all material analysis outsourcing activities with third-party lab, including for any requests from our locations in Korea and China; and perform lab material analysis, including scanning electron analysis; and other duties as assigned.

QC Inspector
Ventura, CA

Valex is currently looking for Quality Inspectors to join our Quality Department on 1st and 2nd Shift. Valex is a producer of high-quality, high-purity products, and your role will be to inspect our products for material defects and grade of workmanship using visual, mechanical, dimensional, and functional inspection techniques. Inspections occur throughout our process, from raw material to final inspection of finished goods.

The successful candidate will have familiarity with all of the above referenced inspection techniques and the tools and instruments associated with each. Some of those tools include calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. We also work from drawings, so experience working off of drawings is a plus. You must be experienced working with computers, and you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Some of our material is heavy and/or awkward to work with, so you must also be physically able to lift, push, pull, grip, and grasp up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.

Machinist (CNC/Conventional)
Ventura, CA

Valex Corp is seeking Machinists (CNC/Conventional) on 2nd shift at its Ventura, CA location. In this position, you will fabricate tools, fixtures, and other items as required using drawings, sketches, or verbal descriptions. You will fabricate component parts where set-ups are non-routine and tolerances are difficult to acquire and maintain. You will operate and set-up a variety of machine tool equipment to extremely close and complex tolerances, including power mill, lathe, and other hand and power equipment of similar complexity. You will be accountable for safe operations and a clean and organized work area.

The successful candidate will have CNC and Conventional Machining experience. You must be able to read scaled drawings and be able to program the machines. Preferred experience includes knowledge of Haas mills and lathes, Mazak lathes, and conventional mills and lathes. You must be able to read, write, and speak English and have good communication skills.

This position is a union position and will require you to join the union (there is an initial initiation fee and monthly dues as part of the membership). They pay range for this position is $27.25 to 31.57 per hour DOE, which includes our $3/hr 2nd-shift pay differential.

Welder
Ventura, CA

Valex is looking for primarily 2nd shift welders with some training or experience to join our team in Ventura, CA. You will perform standard production operations related to the fabrication of production stainless steel products using various welding methods. You will also weld and fabricate fixtures and tooling to support manufacturing and engineering operations, working from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions.

The successful candidate will have some experience in tungsten-inert-gas (TIG) welding and rotary welding equipment on a variety of materials, including stainless-steel, titanium, and copper. In addition, MIG, heliarc, and brazing experience is desirable. You must also be able to read and interpret drawings, follow written and verbal instructions in English, lift/carry up to 25 pounds often, and be able to interface with others successfully. You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to tack butt welds, as well as perform full-penetration rotary welds with and without filler rod using a rotary table.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, bargaining (union) position and you will be expected to join our union upon hire (there is a nominal initiation fee and monthly dues). There are three levels for the Welder classification and you will be hired into the level that best matches your experience/knowledge. The first shift hourly rate pay range for the three levels is $25.94 to $33.20, and there is a $3/hr shift differential for 2nd shift positions.

Production Welder

The successful candidate will have the ability to setup and operate various pieces of shop equipment and machinery . You must be able to read, write, and speak English, and be able to follow written and verbal instructions. You must have good hand to eye dexterity, lift/carry up to 25 pounds often, and be able to interface with others successfully. You must also be capable of being certified by Valex Corp in accordance with ASME Section 9 procedure qualifications for autogenous welding. This is a full-time, non-exempt, bargaining (union) position and you will be expected to join our union upon hire (there is a nominal initiation fee and monthly dues). There are three levels for the Production Welder classification and a 2nd shift pay differential, and you will be hired into the level that best matches your experience/knowledge and shift. The 1st shift hourly rate pay range for the three levels is $22.06 to $28.31 with a $3/hr shift differential added to the rate for 2nd shift positions. Valex is currently hiring for 1st and 2nd shift Manufacturing Helpers in our Ventura, CA location. These are entry-level shop positions and would be a great opportunity for mechanically-inclined individuals who are interested in a career in manufacturing. These are Union, hourly-non-exempt positions that are paid weekly. The general duties, responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:

  • You must be able to work in a loud, dirty environment and not be overly sensitive to safe levels of airborne chemical fumes,

    Valex Corp is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join its engineering team in Ventura, CA. In this role, you will manage internal and external manufacturing projects, including delivery, cost, inventory, capacity, and Cap Ex. You will provide regular status updates to our management team and directly to customers. You will manager customer audits and will provide general engineering support to other Valex locations (domestic & international).

    Valex is hiring for a 2nd-Shift Production (Welding) Supervisor (approximately 3:30pm to Midnight or later if working OT) at its Ventura, CA location. 


    Key responsibilities include:
    • Ensure only quality products are manufactured and delivered on time and to customer satisfaction,
    • Promote and support continuous process, productivity, utilization, safety, and quality improvements,
    • Help control the cost of products produced through efficient utilization of labor, supplies, materials, equipment, and company resources,
    • Complete special projects as assigned by upper management,
    • Support and execute all policies, agreements, procedures, guidelines, and goals set forth by Valex,
    • Ensure assigned planning duties related to work order issuance are executed efficiently and in a timely manner.

    Trade Compliance Manager
    Ventura, CA

    Valex Corp is looking for a Trade Compliance Manager to join its team in Ventura, CA.


    Under the general direction of the VP of Finance and Accounting, the Trade Compliance Manager helps lead the effort to maintain compliance with applicable import and export regulations (EAR, ITAR, and OFAC) for all Valex locations. This includes onboarding, assessments, disclosure support, training, export support, import guidance, free trade assistance, DFARS, export personnel development, and any other tasks assigned to ensure continued compliance, as well as the oversight of export compliance resources of foreign locations.

    • Responsible for managing export compliance and enforcing compliance with US export and trade regulations.
    • Responsible for understanding export compliance regulations for the foreign countries that Valex is located and working with local export compliance resources to ensure compliance with non-US export and trade regulations.
    • Serves as the subject matter expert on US import and export control classification regulations and advises management on import and export compliance matters and classification.
    • Assists U.S. based Valex locations in obtaining authorization for their required exports.
    • Engages with internal stakeholders to achieve compliant solutions and participates in internal import and export compliance reviews.
    • Develops and maintains strategic import and export classification processes and solutions.
    • Monitors US regulatory changes and develops/updates compliance procedures.
    • Monitors changes in import regulations and tariffs rates and ensures that the tariff rates in the ERP and policies and procedures are updated to address changes.

    Inside Sales, Manager
    Round Rock, TX

    The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading the VTXW inside sales, customer support, and sales administration function to ensure accurate order execution, responsive customer communication, effective RFQ/PO/RMA handling, and coordinated support of assigned Round Rock customer programs. This role serves as the primary operational sales leader connecting customer-facing support activity with Operations, Planning, Engineering, Shipping, Accounting, and Sales leadership so that customer requirements, order status, shipment timing, documentation gaps, change-order issues, and delivery risks are managed clearly and promptly. The position is expected to build a disciplined, customer-focused, process-driven Round Rock inside sales organization that supports customer satisfaction, accurate transactions, timely communication, and continuous improvement.     Duties

    The duties of the Inside Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:

    • Manage daily VTXW inside sales/customer support work queues for RFQs, POs, RMAs, order updates, customer inquiries, and escalations.
    • Ensure orders are entered, maintained, updated, and documented accurately in the company ERP/QAD system and related customer portals.
    • Review customer POs and change order requirements for completeness and route discrepancies to the proper internal or customer contact.
    • Monitor RFQ documentation completeness and coordinate missing-print, STP, PQC, BOM, and related requests with customers or buyers.
    • Maintain visibility to sales hold items and drive follow-up/escalation when missing documents or buyer non-responsiveness delays order or engineering setup.
    • Coordinate customer delivery updates, late-delivery communications, push/pull requests, and build-risk/change-order communications through approved channels.
    • Oversee PACE/DASH and related program activities assigned to the VTXW inside sales/customer support team, including consignment/ASN/shipping coordination and process corrections.
    • Coordinate shipment release, invoice timing, freight/change-order support, and month end sales coverage with Shipping, Finance, and Sales leadership.
    • Support customer setup activity by coordinating credit applications, resale certificates, W-9/MNDA/NDA routing, and related documentation with Finance/Accounting and Sales leadership.
    • Coordinate capacity, technical capability, and customer support requests with Operations, Engineering, Planning, and Sales leadership before committing externally.
    • Train, coach, and support assigned employees in customer service, order execution, documentation standards, and escalation practices.
    • Recommend process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, customer responsiveness, and internal visibility.
    • Perform other duties assigned by the Senior Director, Global Sales that are consistent with VTXW inside sales/customer support.

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, supply chain, or related field preferred when supported by candidate experience.
    • Five or more years of inside sales, customer service, order administration, sales operations, account support, or related commercial/operations experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train, and develop customer-facing or sales support personnel.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook; ERP/QAD, CRM, customer portal, or sales-related software experience strongly preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer updates, internal escalations, and cross-functional coordination.

    Valex Corp is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join its engineering team in Round Rock, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for the identification, evaluation, design, and implementation of cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes and equipment, in addition to making manufacturing productivity improvements to existing processes and equipment. You will also provide technical support to the operations and quality departments and perform other projects as assigned.
